Patricia Branstead is an American abstract artist and master printer whose work is inspired by light, nature, and the quiet beauty of organic forms. With a background rooted in fine art printmaking, she earned her MFA from the San Francisco Art Institute and spent decades working in professional print studios, collaborating with renowned artists before focusing fully on her own creative practice.

Using a monotype process, Patricia paints directly onto Plexiglas and transfers each image onto thin Asian paper. These one-of-a-kind prints explore movement, repetition, and transparency, resulting in layered compositions that feel organic and meditative. Many of these works are later transformed into illuminated lamps, where light becomes an essential part of the artwork itself.
